Biography

Dr. Alice M. Bacak and Dr. J. Alan Mannik would like to welcome you to their office. In 1989, they moved to South Haven and acquired the practice of Dr. Richard Kelly. Drs. Bacak and Mannik are Doctors of Optometry. They are husband and wife and reside right here in South Haven.

Dr. Alice M. Bacak received her B.S. in Biology from The Ohio State University in 1984. In 1988, she received her O.D. degree from The Ohio State University College Of Optometry. Dr. Bacak is a member of the Contact Lens and Cornea Section of the American Optometric Association. She is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association and the current president of the Southwestern Michigan Optometric Association. Dr. Bacak was also an officer of the South Haven Jaycees.

Dr. J. Alan Mannik received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Toledo in 1985. In 1989, he received his O.D. degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Dr. Mannik is an active member of The American Optometric Association, Michigan Optometric Association, and is current president of the Southwestern Michigan Optometric Association. He is past president of the South Haven Rotary Club and past president of the South Haven Jaycees. Dr. Mannik is a member and instructor with the National Ski Patrol System.
